2023-2026 Yarn Bomb Installations

Yarn Bombing is covering common objects in knitted or crocheted materials to create art.  All materials are washed and reused for future yarn bomb projects. The Maywood Arts Collective (MAC) has collaborated with residents, members of the Maywood Crochet Club and 2 Girl Scout Troops to cover West Pleasant Avenue bollards and benches for a temporary art installation during June in 2023, 2024 and 2025.  Contact Joan @ 201-368-2743 if you would like to help.  If you would like to bring more art to Maywood, consider joining the Maywood Green Team/Arts Collective.  For more information, contact Tara Grunstra at email or 201-845-2900 x211.
