The Maywood Board of Health in conjunction with the Bergen County Department of Health provides public health services that preserve, protect and promote Health and Well Being of our residents.

Community Resource Council
The Community Resource Council is an active alliance of agencies and individuals with a commitment to promoting the health and well-being of the people of Bergen County, New Jersey. Call the HELPLINE at 201-343-6543. The CRC provides health and human services assistance, in English and Spanish, to anyone living or working within Bergen County. This service is free and confidential. The HELPLINE Service is the ONLY free, comprehensive, confidential and computerized county-wide information and referral service guiding those in need of assistance to the resources available. Information is provided on a number of services: health care for senior citizens, drug and alcohol counseling, help for the disabled, unemployment assistance, services for working parents, legal and financial assistance, emergency food and shelter, and much more. The HELPLINE database contains information on more than 2,500 health and human service resources and programs available to those who live or work in Bergen County.
