July 4th Parade Committee Meeting Schedule & Grand Marshall Nominations

At the meeting of the July 4th Parade Committee held on January 7, 2026, the Committee  approved the following meeting dates: February 4th, March 4th, April 1st, May 6th and June 3rd.   Meetings are held at the Maywood American Legion Hall, 135 East Passaic Street beginning at 7pm and members of the public are invited to attend.   This year we will be celebrating the 250th Birthday of America.  We would like to make this the biggest and most memorable Parade ever.  Public participation is always welcomed.

Nominations for Grand Marshall for the 2026 July 4th Parade are due April 30, 2026.  Nominees must be a resident of Maywood and have served the Borough of Maywood  in some capacity.  Letters of nomination with a description of why you feel the nominee should be Grand Marshall should be mailed to Martha DeYoung, 8 Orchard Place,  Maywood, NJ 07607.  Please mark on the outside of the envelope “2025 Grand Marshall Nomination”.
